Thank you for your interest in securing a performance by The Architeckz© Athletic Hip-Hop Entertainment Team.We have enclosed a Performance Agreement for your review. If you are interested in booking a performance please follow the instructions on page 9 of this agreement to secure your event. 

The completion of the Performance Proposal Template is the first step in securing The Architeckz for your Special Event, Night Club Venue, Theatre, Speaking Engagements or Educational Institution.

Began his  career in collage radio attending Grambling State University, then  music video and commercial production with HSI Productions in Los Angeles, working with such directors as Paul Hunter, Little X, Hype Williams, and Hollywood's top African-American Casting Agency Robi Reed-Humes & Associates. Founder of the Bay Areas Athletic Team "The Architeckz". Jeriel Bey uses Fitness, Entertainment and Hip-Hop Dancing as a Urban X-Game [Sport] to promote the awareness of Health Disparities, Physical Activity, Unity, Leadership, and Excellence in the Oakland, California and around the world.

DEMOGRAPHICS
The market for our service is currently youth in our targeted segment. We have refined how we are defining our market segment based on the results of our research. Having created a athletic freestlye teams for inner city dancers, the market for promoting Hip Hop Freestyle Athletic competitions as a sport for youth we are creating an culture. Thus allowing Community, Corporate, Philanthropic, Entertainment, Fashion, and a host of other outside benefits to flood our Junior High, High School, local Colleges and Universities throughout the Bay Area and across the world.

When is my booking secure?
No performance shall be considered “a calendar event” without receipt of a signed contract, 50% deposit, and date availability. Your booking is confirmed with a returned signed contract from Jeriel Bey, Agent.
Once we have reviewed and approved your proposal you will be contacted at the telephone number you indicate in you proposal as “the best # to reach you” (see template) and you will be notified.

Performance Rider & Booking Agreement

PERFORMANCE Fee’s & PAYMENT SCHEDULE

Artist Fee’s and Deposits:
FEE DEPOSIT - All deposits shall be a total of 50% of the Artist Performance Fee. (Performance Choice listed below). Artist Fee Deposit of $ 1500*7=10500/2=5250 deposit   is enclosed with this Agreement.  All Deposits should be payable in form of Cashiers Check Payable to:  The Architeckz Inc.
FEE BALANCE - The remaining balance of $ 5250 for Artist Fee’s are due and payable upon arrival to venue Failure to comply will result in a cancellation of event.

Forms of Payment excepted:
All Artist Fee’s Deposits and Artist Fee balance are to be paid in form of
Cash, Cashier Check, or Bank Wire Only! – All Payment should be made payable to:  The Architeckz Inc. - (Due and payable upon Booking or arrival to venue – NO EXCEPTIONS)

Video Performances: 1 song Performance:  A combanation  of high energy  of what we coined  as organized chaos of freestyles and choreography wit 7 Artist.


Short Notice Booking
All bookings must be solidified within 7-14 days prior to the actual performance date.


BROADCASTING / RECORDING / FILMING
a.   It is importunate that producer ensures that no visual or audio recording of Artists performance or any part of the show is made for any other purpose unless agreed to in writing by The Architeckz© management office in advance.  Videotapes made by patrons will be confiscated by The Architeckz© representative or by venue security.
 
INSURANCE

   Purchaser shall further indemnify Artist and The Architeckz© management and hold Artist and The Architeckz© management, their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents, representatives, and attorneys harmless from and against and all claims, demands, actions, damages, liability, cost and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees and other professional fees) arising out of or in connection with any bodily injury, death, or loss or damage to property which occurs in connection with any performance rendered or to be rendered by Artist during this engagement unless same is caused by the willful conduct of Artist or any employee or agent of Artist.

PURCHASER AGREEMENT
a. The parties hereto acknowledge that they shall have, with respect to each other, the statues of independent contractors, and nothing herein contained shall be construed as creating a relationship of principal and agent or employer and employee between said parties.

b. Producer shall not assign this Agreement or delegate any of Producer’s obligations there under.
c. Producer warrants and represents that Producer has the right power and capacity to enter and perform each and every term of this Agreement, and Producer has not done or permitted to be done anything, which may curtail or impair any The Architeckz© rights hereunder. Producer is not a party to any contract which prevents Producer from fulfilling any of its obligations hereunder or which impairs any of The Architeckz© rights hereunder. Producer warrants that Producer has obtained or shall obtain prior to Artist’s performance all necessary licenses, permissions, consents, and authorizations necessary.


 
d. This agreement contains all of the representations, terms and conditions of the parties’ agreement, and there are no collateral agreements, whether oral or written, between the parties hereto relating to the subject matter hereof.  No alteration, amendment or modification hereof shall be binding unless set forth in writing signed by both parities to this Agreement.  No waiver of any term of this Agreement or breach thereof shall be construed as a continuing waiver or consent to any subsequent breach thereof.  This Agreement and all amendments or modifications hereof shall be governed by and interpreted by the laws of the state of California applicable to contracts executed and to be fully performed therein.  Those provisions required to be included herein in order to be enforceable by any union or labor organization having jurisdiction regarding this Agreement shall be deemed incorporated herein and shall constitute part of the Agreement.  In the event of litigation (or collection matters) arising out of or relating to this agreement, Artist and The Architeckz© shall be entitled to recover any and all reasonable court costs and attorney’s fees related thereto.  Nothing in the Agreement shall be construed as requiring the commission of any act contrary to any law or regulation of an applicable guild or union.  Wherever there is any conflict between the provisions of this Agreement and any present or future statue, law, ordinance or regulation applicable to this Agreement the provisions of this Agreement shall be limited only to the extent necessary to bring said provision within the requirements of the applicable law or regulation.
 
PERMITS
Producer agrees to obtain at its sole cost, all licenses, permits, visas, certificates, authorizations or other approvals required to be obtained from any relevant entity and also agrees to comply with all terms, conditions, and covenants set forth therein.  If you fail to obtain the same not later than thirty (30) days prior to the engagement or default with respect to any such term, condition, or covenant, Artist may terminate this agreement and all of Producer’s rights hereunder without liability of a kind to Artist.  Any and all liability arising out of, or in connection with the failure of Producer to perform its obligations hereunder shall be solely Producer’s responsibility and Producer shall hold Artist and The Architeckz© and any party claiming and interest through Artist wholly harmless there from. All songs performed by Artist(s) are in the catalogues of Producer.

CANCELLATIONS
This agreement is not confirmed until it is returned to The Booking Agency signed and accompanied by the deposit which is non-refundable.  If Producer shall cancel this concert for any reason within ninety (30) to thirty-one (31) days prior to contracted date of engagement, Producer agrees to pay Artist a total of fifty percent (50%) of contracted amount.  If Producer shall cancel this concert within thirty (15) days of contracted date of engagement for any reason, the full contracted amount of compensation shall be paid to Artist plus any non-refundable travel moneys agreed upon that my exist after said cancellation.



CREW
Runner
We require that you provide One (1) Person to be available for use as a runner or stagehand. Must be present and available at the scheduled Technical Rehearsal for briefing and instructions.
 

ARTIST CLAIMS NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR INJURIES RESULTING DURING VOLUNTEER CREW MEMBERS’ TIME OF WORK WITH ARTIST.  NOR DOES ARTIST CLAIM RESPONSIBILITY FROM ACTION TAKEN BY, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN OF MINORS FEWER THAN 18 WHO VOLUNTEER TO WORK ON THE CREW.

BACKSTAGE LOGISTICS
Dressing Room
Please provide dressing Rooms as needed for your event. Please provide one large room with the capacity for eight people. Please separate dressing rooms for Performers (Women & Men) with adequate security for all dressing rooms. Please stock Artist dressing room with appropriate drinks and snacks. 



Stage/Dressing Room Security
It is vital that Purchaser provide adequate security for the artist’s personal belongings, gear, vehicles, etc. throughout the event.  All entrances to the backstage area should be guarded so as to let only artist’s personnel, local help and other approved persons backstage.

Catering
Please provide a clean, quiet room at the venue for the group, crew and artists for the day to eat in.  Be aware that the numbers reflected in this rider are for Artists touring personnel only.  If you will be feeding the local help, plan to add that number on top of the one in this rider. Please check with Artist’s road manager for any meal breaks.  


ARTIST SECURITY RELATIONS
The Promoter/Producer must guarantee proper security at all times to ensure the safety of the Artist, Personnel, instruments, and all equipment, costumes, and personal property during and after the performance(s). Security must be present to assure artist safety before, during, and after performance on date of performance. At no time, nor for any reason will the artist be approached or harassed personally for any business not relating to the contracted performance including but not limited to business opportunities, work for hire, fee waiver, favors, interviews, etc. by the client, or any person under the employ and/or direction of client. Artists are required to uphold the same policy with respect to client and or any client affiliate.
